Visas and India has been quite a fun ride for whoever I know. For some its like a smooth process to get everything done, but for some its a major challenge. Last year onwards a lot of rules have changed in visa process.
Now you can obtain different types of visas; below listed are the visa options along with links to get proper guidance throught eh application process.
1. Simplest and fastest is Visa on arrival. It’s an e-visa one can obtain by filing an online application and once approved receive their visa on arrival.

2. Second way is to apply for a regular tourist/business visa. After submissions of all paperwork, you may get the visa between 2-4 weeks depending on processing time. You can apply this visa at the nearest embassy of India or through a registered agent in your city.
